Richard Malcolm Bishop Jr., 63, husband of Lynn Martin Bishop, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
Mr. Bishop was born in Portsmouth, VA, to Richard M. Bishop Sr. and the late Sybil Lona Crane Bishop. He retired from Eaberscher and was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church. Rick loved riding motorcycles and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are three sons, Tripp Bishop, Jason Bishop, and Brian Stone and wife Amanda; a daughter, Brittaney Bishop; three brothers and their wives, Don and Cindy Bishop, Ron and Kathy Bishop, and Terry and Bridget Bishop; three grandchildren, Cameron Bishop, Bryson Stone and Brynlee Stone; and his beloved cat “Monkey.” He was predeceased by a brother, Randy Bishop.
A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be 2 p.m. Friday at Gospel Tabernacle in Laurens. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
