Obituary of Stephen "Steve" Hayes

Stephen "Steve" Hayes, 65, husband of Elizabeth Ann Hart Hayes for 44 years, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 21, 2017.

 

Mr. Hayes was born in Greenville County to the late Jada Eugene and Sarah Julian Hayes.  He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church.  He enjoyed fishing but his family was his world.

 

Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Stephen Hayes (Leslie); daughter, Heather Hayes Millsaps (Glenn); three grandchildren, Jada Hayes, Sarah Grace Millsaps and Hayes Millsaps and a sister, Dianne Hayes Hammond.

 

Funeral services will be 3:30pm Wednesday at Fairview Presbyterian Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2-3:30pm in the church.

 

Memorials may be made to CUREasc.org or to St. Jude's, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, where Steve donated monthly for several years.
