Obituary of Phillip Andrew Timmersman

Phillip Andrew “Happy” Timmersman, 68, husband of Anne Mobley Timmersman of 45 years, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

Mr. Timmersman was born in Greenville to the late Richard Carl and Sue Brock Timmersman.  He was the Alumnus of the University of South Carolina and Florida International University. He was a US Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. His hobbies included, playing the guitar, working in the yard, reading, camping at the beach, writing books and being Papa to his grandkids.

Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Dean Timmersman; four daughters, Jenny Gentry (John), Missy Burgess (Jody), Maggie Timmersman and Susan Hughes (Chuck); eleven grandchildren, Jessica Clark (Chris), Josie McCorquodale (Geoff), Casey Gentry, Loren Gentry, Lexi Timmersman, Anna Bailey, Justin Bailey, John Dalton Gentry, John Ward, Jacob Ward and Andrew Kelley and a great-grandson, Maverick Clark.

The family will receive friends 2-3 pm Saturday, December 30^th, at Fletcher Funeral Service.  Graveside services will be 1pm Tuesday, January 9, 2017 at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
