Obituary of Lonnie Lee Fletcher Sr.

Lonnie Lee Fletcher Sr., 71, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

 

Mr. Fletcher was born in Walterboro to the late Joe Francis Fletcher and Clara Mae Bunton Fletcher.  He worked many years as a painter and truck driver.  Lonnie enjoyed westerns and was a huge Lone Ranger fan.  Over the years, he collected hawk-bill knives and attended drag races.     

 

Surviving are three sons, Allan Fletcher and wife Angie, Lonnie Fletcher Jr., and Jeffery Fletcher and wife Gypsy; a daughter, Penny Rhodes and fiancé Tony Branch; a brother, Marion Fletcher; two sisters, Minnie Hiott and Myra Bryan; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Hutto and husband Chris, Katelyn Fletcher and fiancé Nicholas Martin, Jared Fletcher, Ethan Fletcher, Bryson Fennell, Jillian Grace Fletcher, Braylan Fennell, Calliana Rhodes, Colton Rhodes, Scott Fletcher, Lydia Henderson, and Reis Fletcher; and two great-grandchildren, Lennox Hutto and Ellyson Hutto.  He was predeceased by a brother, Frankie Fletcher; and a grandson, Levi Fletcher.

 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Black Creek Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
