Obituary of Julia Bagwell Hill

Julia Christine Bagwell Hill, 90, widow of David William Hill, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Mrs. Hill was born in Gray Court to the late Ivy Sylvester Bagwell and Macie Mabell Josephine South Bagwell.  She retired from Hillcrest Hospital and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.  Julia was a community servant at heart, cooking pies for friends and family often.  She also enjoyed flower gardening.

Surviving are a son, Bill Hill and wife Martha; a daughter, Jo Kinley and husband Ted; eleven grandchildren, John Manley and wife Robbie, Scott Manley and wife Jodi, Crissy Meyer, Missy Bentley and husband Isaac, Joanna Ronan and husband Sean, Tommy Hill, Julie Owens and husband Ken, Willie Hill, Stephanie Caddell and husband Josh, Hillary Armstrong, and Kalene Carnes; and eighteen great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two daughters, Nancy Trotter and Ann Armstrong; four brothers, William Bagwell, Marion Bagwell, Marvin Bagwell and Charles Bagwell; and six sisters, Sarah Neal, Lois Shedd, Mildred Bagwell, Syble Neal, Ellen Neal and Ruby Bagwell.
