Obituary of Carolyn Jean Marler Tucker

Carolyn Jean Marler Tucker, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Ms. Tucker was born in Woodruff to the late Frank Allen Marler and Elizabeth Pearl King Marler. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. Carolyn enjoyed playing the piano, writing poetry and solving word puzzles. She was a collector of cat figurines, nut-crackers, lighthouses, shark teeth and state magnets. She was known for her perfectly polished nails. Surviving are two sons, Richard Tucker with companion Brandi, and Kevin Tucker with wife Tosha; a daughter, Kristen Barker with husband Jeff; a brother, Don Marler with wife Patti; fourteen grandchildren, Jonathan Herrell with wife Sara, Michael Tucker, Kassie Musgrove, Richard Tucker, Jr., Angel Tucker, Lauryn Tucker, Lael Barker, JoEl Barker, Landon Tucker, Jaxson Tucker, Trevor Musgrove, Kaia Tucker, Declan Tucker, and Lucas Tucker. She was predeceased by a daughter, April Musgrove; and a grandson, Randall Tucker. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be 3 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service in Woodruff. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 1031 W.
