Obituary of Ashley Lewis Moore

Ashley Lewis Moore, 60, husband of Kimberly Genoble Layman, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Mr. Moore was born in Moncks Corner to the late William Franklin “Bill” Moore and Carolyn Louise Lewis Moore. He retired from Sinnaloid – CRI. He was a chef by trade. Ash loved gardening, hunting and the privilege of being “Grandpa Ash.” He loved working with his hands and could make just about anything. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Ryan Moore with wife Kathleen, and Nick Layman with wife Marissa; two sisters and their husbands, Pam and Bart Johnson, and Susie and Whit Brezeale; and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends between 5 – 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave, Greenville, SC 29605.
