Obituary of Estelle Sullivan

Please share a memory of Estelle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Vera Estelle Bragg Sullivan, 86, wife of Franklin D. Sullivan for 66 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Mrs. Sullivan was born in Fountain Inn to the late Victor Manley Bragg and Clara Mae Taylor Bragg. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She retired from Fiber Industries. She later retired from the Simpsonville Walmart after 18 years of service. Estelle loved to cook and bake treats for family, friends and co-workers. She enjoyed staying in touch with friends and family via FaceBook and working word-search puzzles. Her home was adorned with pictures of her family and particularly her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She cherished being Granny to them all. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three sons, Tim Sullivan with wife Shari, Andy Sullivan, and Bryon Sullivan with wife Tiffany; two daughters, Deborah Chappell with husband Frank, and Lisa Moore; a special family friend that she considered a son, Steve Kay; a brother, Rev. Carroll Hughes; two sisters, Peggy Lucas and Linda Jones with husband Clark; twelve grandchildren, Drew Chappell with wife Ginna, Cory Sullivan, Nikki Sullivan, Kasey Sullivan with fiancé Chris Lutz, Victoria Sullivan, Micah Sullivan with fiancé Lindsey Whitelock, Savannah Moore, Micayla Sullivan, Jake Moore, Andi Sullivan, Franky Chappell, and Tara Montgomery with husband Greg; and eight great-grandchildren, Henley, Lilah, Amelia, Landon, Rylan, Koen, Tegan and Keaton. She was predeceased by two brothers, Cecil Hughes and Larry Hughes; a sister, Martha Thorson; and a granddaughter, Angel Moore. A Celebration of Estelle’s Life will be 2 o’clock Monday at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 134 Bethany Circle, Fountain Inn, SC 29644; or to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Palmetto Region, 1003 Grove Road, Suite E, Greenville, SC 29605.
