Obituary of Corrie Azilee Eberly

Corrie Azilee Sexton Eberly, 89, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 15, 2022. Born in Simpsonville, she was the daughter of the late Henry Dee Sexton and Ollie Mae Farmer Sexton. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and retired from Kemet. Azilee was known for her feisty quick-wit, and tenuous spirit. She loved her family, going out for ice cream and shopping. She mostly loved being a mother, “Grandma” and “Grandma-Doodles”. Surviving, are two sons, Ricky Beaman and Steve Beaman; a daughter, Diane Pennington; a sister, Lois Lollis; seven grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son in-law, Carroll Pennington; and a daughter in-law, Frances Marie Beaman. A Celebration of Azilee’s Life will be 1 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Eddie Howard. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
