Obituary of Rebecca McCuen Davis

Rebecca “Becky” Diane McCuen Davis, 57, wife of Gary Dean Davis for 41 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 2, 2022. Becky was born in Greenville to the late George Ansel McCuen, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Duncan McCuen. Before Becky’s declining health, she worked more than 20 years at Perrigo Company. Becky enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and being “Nanny” to her grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Vickie Price (Rick); two step-daughters, Deborah Akins (Michael), and Tonya Davis; two brothers, John McCuen (Laura) and Shawn McCuen; seven grandchildren, Lisa Kelly, Michelle Akins (Greg), Marquie Akins (Tejay) Dusty Stull, Austin Davis (Noelle), Doyle Price, and Haylee Robertson; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, George McCuen, Jr. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Graveside Service will follow 3 pm Tuesday at Greenville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to Fletcher Funeral Service 1218 North Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
