Obituary of Sara Bolt

Sara Louise Jenkins Bolt, widow of Carey Dalton Bolt, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Mrs. Bolt was born in Greenville County, SC to the late Charlie Ashmore Jenkins and Grace Lee Garrett Jenkins. She was a member of Henderson Baptist Church. Sara was a proud military wife who supported her husband “Chief” throughout his career. She enjoyed traveling and cherished being a Grandma. Sara was a caretaker at heart, providing support for many throughout her lifetime. Surviving are a son, Carey Dalton Bolt, Jr. with wife Laurie; two grandchildren, Carey Dalton Bolt, III, and Katie “Bird” Davis with husband John; and three great-grandchildren, Dillon, Cooper, and Addison. A Celebration of Sara’s Life will be 3 o’clock Tuesday in the mausoleum chapel at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 58105; or to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W.
