Obituary of Carlos Mario Pagán Sr.

Carlos Mario Pagán Sr. (August 28, 1968-December 26, 2022) On December 26, 2022, the heavens gained another angel. Our beloved Carlos Mario Pagán Sr., 54, predeceased by his father Francisco Ruben Pagán Sr., went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Carlos took his final breath, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a born-again Christian and a faithful member of Faith Church in Summerville, South Carolina. Carlos was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. At the age of 4, his family relocated to New Jersey. For 17 years, he worked as a pro supervisor for Home Depot. Carlos was a devoted New York Mets fan, he enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, and golf cart rides. He was a Godly, humble, loving and kind soul who was loved by many. Surviving is his wife, Denise Rivera Pagán; mother and stepfather, Ivonne Colón and Juan F. Colón ; son, Carlos Mario Pagán Jr., wife Chelsey Pagán and grandchildren, Sophia Pagán, Adrian Restrepo and Blakely Pagán; daughter, Priscilla Marie Smith, husband Reeve Smith and grandson Reeve Mayson Smith Jr.; brothers, Francisco Ruben Pagán Jr., Javier Edgardo Pagán, wife Dawn, and Alberto Luis Pagán, wife Cynthia. A celebration of Carlos' life will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Cathedral Community Church in Simpsonville, SC. Viewing will be from 4:00-6:00 PM, followed by a service from 6:15-8:00 PM. Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Summerville Cemetery in Summerville, S.C. at 2:00 PM.
