To Dale,Debra, and Marion I am truly sorry for the loss of Miss Mary. I remember very clearly how she always had a smile on her face, and how pleasant and friendly she was to me and all others she encountered. I am quite sure you will miss her dearly in the days ahead, but know that you were really blessed to have her for a mother and wife. She was such a joy to have known. Adam Woods

Dale your mother was so very kind and accepted a stranger or strangers in her home, made us feel comfortable and welcomed, such a kind and loving soul. I thank God I had the opportunity to meet her!! Rest in peace Angel

Q: How did you meet Mary Laura? A: I bought the “Laura Stone House”: the home she grew up in, with her Mother and Grandmother, in Laurens. . She was the kindest, sweetest person one could ever hope to know.. Her warmth was so dear. Her smile and laughter, so sincere. I cherished the many loving stories of their years in that home. She and Marion welcomed me in this unfamiliar state and embraced my Great Aunt Ruth, when she arrived. We felt like we had family. And we did; of the best kind. She will be missed greatly. Forever in the heart of anyone who knew her. There will never be another like her.
