I feel blessed to have known Sharon. She was a kind, genuinely beautiful person. Sharon was an amazing mother! She and Tony had produced four kind and intelligent children!
Thank you, Sharon, for being the best neighbor--EVER! I have the sweetest memories of my fellow early bird, Jake! He knows I was awake bcs the lights were on in the kitchen. He was wonderful company! May God hold Sharon's loved ones, especially her children, close. May they know that she is with them in spirit ~ she'll watch over them until they meet again in Heaven.

Sharon and I were roomates and sorority sisters at Francis Marion. I lived out of state and Sharon was kind to me. She even took me home with her one weekend so I could meet her family. I know she loved Tony immensely, as I was there when they first started dating. And I see from all the beautiful comments that she raised a beautiful and loving family. I was sad to hear of her passing, but know that she loved her family with her whole heart. May her family and friends find comfort in their memories of the kind, loving person that she was.

I did not know Mrs. Sharon Golembesky, but do know her daughter Katherine. For the past 3+ years I have served as Katherine’s college advisor, mentor and instructor. Mrs. Golembesky must truly have been a loving and caring mother, wife, and daughter if Katherine is any reflection of her mother. Please know you all have my condolences but most importantly my prayers to God through his son Jesus that he provide you his support during your time of loss.

Q: How would you describe Sharon to someone who had never met them?
A: The Worlds Greatest mother. She loved everyone and if she sensed that her mothering talents were needed they were always on full display. Sharon had an indomitable spirit and an infectious smile. She lived for her family and especially for her children to love them, to care for them and her love for her family and memory will live forever…

WITH A BROKEN HEART I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY MEMORIES OF SHARON. AT THE AGE OF 12 I WAS HER BABYSITTER. SHE WAS 6 AT THE TIME. OUR AGES WERE SO CLOSE WE BECAME BEST BUDDIES. STILL LOVING TO PLAY BARBIES AND HOUSE I JUMPED RIGHT IN THERE WITH HER. WE SHARED MANY GOOD TIMES TOGETHER. SHE HAD THAT SMILE EVEN THEN THOUGH SHE WAS STUBORN AS COULD BE. THEN RONALD WAS BORN AND I BECAME A SITTER FOR BOTH OF THEM. MY HEART BROKE WHEN THEY MOVED AWAY. I HAVE WATCHED HER GROW UP ON FACEBOOK. WENT TO HER WEDDING AND BABY SHOWER FOR THE TRIPLETS. WATCHED HER HAVE HER OWN FAMILY. WATCHED AS SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER AND WATCHED HOW SHE DID LIFE WITH IT. ALWAYS STAYING INVOLVED IN THE LIVES OF HER CHILDREN EVEN WHILE GOING THROUGH SO MUCH HERSELF. HER SMILE HAS ALWAYS BEEN BEAUTIFUL AND I HAVE WATCHED IT REMAIN THROUGH IT ALL. MY HEART, THOUGHTS, AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU JOYCE AND HAROLD...PARENTS SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO BURY THEIR CHILD. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU TONY AS YOU LEARN TO DO LIFE WITHOUT HER. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH EACH OF YOU LUKE, KATHERINE, JAKE, RACHEL AS YOU MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT THE WOMAN WHO WAS YOUR GREATEST CHEERLEADER. SHE HAS LEFT BEHIND MUCH BUT HAS GONE FORWARD WITH SO MUCH MORE!!

I am so sorry for the loss of your wife and Mama. Expected or not you are never ready. I wasn’t, I want you to know she fought a valiant fight against a horrible cancer. I know she loved each of you and never wanted to leave and hearing she is so happy and whole with no pain is a great thing but doesn’t make up for wanting her with you. Take care of yourself and remember grief isn’t linear and I never believed it gets better at time but it will, I am praying for all you and will continue in the months to come. The Children’s Cancer Society is very near and dear to my heart and I was honored to donate money in her name. They always need funding and it helps so many patients and researchers it is a fitting choice for Sharon always wanting to help others and her love for teaching children, I can’t think of a more fitting tribute to give in honor of Sharon.

I was lucky enough to meet the Golembesky family in 2007 when Luke joined my first grade classroom. It happened to be the school year I found out I was going to be a mom of twins in August 2008. Sharon was such a lifesaver as she not only volunteered to help me with my class that year, she gave me all sorts of advice about what I would need to know to parent multiple babies. This was just the giving person she was. The world is a little dimmer without her. I am so sorry to Tony, Luke, Jake, Katherine, and Rachel.

My deepest sympathy goes to all of Sharon's family. She was a true angel on earth. Now she will forever be a guardian angel for all of you. I witnessed the love she had for children and it was beautiful. My family and I pray that her family will find peace and know that she will be with you always.
