Obituary of Emmie Rose Peden

Emmie Rose Taylor Peden, 87, widow of Walter Stewart Peden, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Mrs. Peden was born in Laurens to the late Henry Adam Taylor and Melinda Faye Woods Taylor.  She was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church where she served many years as a church pianist.  Emmie Rose was a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College and retired from John D. Hollingsworth.  She loved to cook, but her favorite hobby was sewing.

Surviving are a son, Stewart Peden, Jr.; and a sister, Peggy White.  She was predecased by a brother, Rex Taylor.

Graveside services will be private at Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
