She was born January 9, 1955 in Woodruff, SC to the late Earl Wright Thompson and Lou Ann Thompson. Judy was a loving mama and mawmaw to numerous extra kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids. Mama you were a best friend and wonderful mama! You are loved dearly and extremely missed by many!
She is survived by fiancé, Steven Andersen; her children, Berlie Wood (Marlene), Anna Wooten (Brandon), Donna Leopard (Frankie); six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; a special friend, Jaxon Carter Clay, aka “Mawmaw’s Little Redheaded Stranger”. She was predeceased by her husband, Donnie Wood; sister, Dorothy Thompson, and great-grandson, Anthony Craig Palmer.
The church will receive florist deliveries from 1:30-3pm the day of service.
Visiation will be held Thursday, February 6th from 3-4pm at Rabun Creek Baptist Church.
A Memorial Service will begin 4pm Thursday, February 6th at Rabun Creek Baptist Church.
