William John Yannon, 61, husband of the late Rita Kay Milligan Yannon, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2025.

Born in Staten Island, NY, William was the beloved son of Joseph Edward Yannon and Barbara Ann Armstrong Duffy. A proud U.S. Navy veteran and Bronze Star recipient, he was a man of deep faith, devoted to both the Lord and his family. His career as a truck driver took him across the country, where he embraced every opportunity to explore new places and experiences. An avid reader and history enthusiast, he also found joy in bird-watching during his downtime.

William is survived by his father, Joseph Edward Yannon and his wife, Maryann; his mother, Barbara Ann Duffy and her husband, George; his brothers, Joseph Yannon (wife Joyce), Michael Yannon, and Daniel Yannon; and his sisters, Laurie Yannon Wing and Julie Yannon Hauser (husband Chris) and fun uncle to many nieces and nephews..

A service to honor and celebrate William’s life will be announced at a later date.
