Obituary of Rachel Mull

Rachel Mull, 80, widow of Buddy Wayne “Bud” Mull, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Mrs. Mull was born in Shelby, NC to the late Roy Champion and Evelena Bell Champion.  She was a member of Crosswell First Baptist Church where she sang and participated in various church activities throughout the years.  She retired from Digital Equipment Corporation.  Rachel enjoyed the beaches and the mountains and collecting Snow Globes.  She cherished being “MawMaw” to her grandchildren.  Rachel was a caretaker at heart and spent untold hours and energy caring for family and friends.

Surviving are a son, Chris Mull with wife Meghan; a daughter, Stacy McAtee with husband Kevin; two grandchildren, Krystin Vargo with husband Mark and Skyler McAtee with companion Eden; and three great-grandchildren, Ace, Stella and Miller.

Graveside services will be private.
