James Woodrow Brian Strickland, 50, husband of Kimberly Lane Owens Strickland, went home to the Lord on Friday, March 14, 2025. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James Ralph Strickland and Joyce Lockey Strickland.

Brian worked for the School District of Greenville County for many years. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and volleyball. He was a big fan of classic cars and the Clemson Tigers. Brian also loved taking trips to Maggie Valley with his wife Kim where they shared many special memories together.

In addition to his wife, Kim, Brian is survived by his daughter, Hannah Lawson Taylor (Brandon); sons, Kaden Strickland and Tristan Strickland; and Trace Strickland and Makayla Strickland; and his month-old grandson, Brexton Taylor.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Glendale Baptist Church in Mauldin from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. A funeral will follow at the church beginning at 3:00 pm.
