Obituary of Mark Boyd

Mark Craig Boyd, 64, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Mr. Boyd was born in Woodruff to the late Richard Fowler Boyd and Sara Frances Know Boyd.  He retired from Palmetto Vermiculite Company.  Mark was a hard worker and always tried to get things accomplished.  He enjoyed fishing and time spent with family.  Mark was a history buff and a consummate reader/student of War knowledge.

Surviving are a son, Chad Boyd with wife Emily; a daughter, Gina Boyd with fiancé Will; and three grandchildren, Hayden Boyd, Cameron Boyd, and Colt Boyd.

A celebration of Mark’s life will begin at 1 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service in Woodruff.  The family will receive friends following the service.
