Tyler Craig Bishop, 17, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.  Born in Greenville, he was a son of William Craig Bishop (Cindy) and Ashley Brooke Adams Mahaffey (Thomas).

Tyler enjoyed music, video games, and skateboarding.  Tyler could light up a room with his smile and warm personality.  He loved being around family, friends, and coworkers.

In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by a brother, Bentley Simmons; a sister, Ava Simmons; maternal grandparents, Denise & Scott McFadden and Don & Jada Adams; paternal grandmother, Yvonne Bishop (Phillip Hudson); uncle, Christopher Bishop; and aunt, Chrissy Adams.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral Service from 5 – 7 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at The Tavern Church, 18069 Hwy 101 South, Gray Court, SC  29645 beginning at 1:00 pm.  Tyler will be laid to rest at Greenville Memorial Gardens following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The Tavern Church in Tyler’s memory.
