Steve Hardee Obituary

Steven W. Hardee, 67, husband of Vicki Leppard Hardee, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.  Born in Woodruff, he was the son of Joan Grogan Hardee and the late Richard Lawrence Hardee.

Steve served in the USAF as a security police officer and worked as a textile machinist.  He was a graduate of Woodruff High School and played football for the Wolverines.

Steve had a passion for studying and sharing the Word of God.  He loved taking drives with his wife, Vicki, to the mountains and together they made a trip to Colorado and Canada.  He enjoyed playing tennis, going fishing, and was an Alabama fan.

In addition to his wife and mother, Steve is survived by his brother, Lee Hardee (Darlene); and two grandchildren, Cohen and Cayden Gibson.  In addition to his father, Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Joi Gibson.

Steve enjoyed listening and worshiping to Christian music from the Billy Graham "Light FM" and HIS Radio.  The family requests that memorials be made in memory of Steve to support one of these outreach ministries.
