Dean Richard Haddle, 62, husband of Marilyn LaVerne Strom Haddle, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born in Youngstown, OH, he was a son of the late Donald Gene Haddle and Betty Lou Zetterquist Haddle.
Dean was a hard worker and dedicated employee. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Dean was always willing to lend a helping hand and put others needs before his own. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was a fan of many sports. Dean’s two passions were Ohio State football and going to the beach.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn, Dean is survived by two daughters, Michelle Dattilio (Alan) and Melissa Schmidt (Paul “Louie”); three grandsons, Nathan and Jacob Dattilio and Dominic Schmidt; a brother, James Haddle (Becky); a sister, Linda Uscianoski (Jim); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Fletcher Funeral Service from 2:00 – 3:30 pm. A short prayer service will follow at 3:30 pm in the chapel at Fletcher Funeral Service.
An open house to celebrate Dean's life will be held in Ohio on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Heritage Presbyterian Church from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
