Henry Hayes was born to Henry Sr. and Geneva Hayes on November 22, 1981 in Grenada, MS.  He lost his father in death when he was 1 year old.

He was united in holy matrimony to Lakyn LaShay Duke on November 1, 2016.  To this union one child was born.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Lakyn LaShay Hayes; one daughter Audrianna Nevaeh Hayes; two step daughters, Alanna and Tianna Knox of Ypsilanti, Michigan; his parents David and Geneva Jenkins of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; one brother Marco Jenkins of Ocala, Florida; four sisters, Latoshia Hayes Jordan, Desiree L. Hayes and Jasmyn J. Jenkins all of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and Kim Longstreet of Leland, Mississippi; grandmother Bettie Bruce; nephew JeMarius; nieces, Zyteria, Mikiah, Aysha, Gabby, and Marley; and a host of aunts, uncles, great nephew, cousins and relatives, spiritual families, and friends.

Henry was an avid fan of all types of sports.  He enjoyed listening to and creating music.  Henry was also a talented artist, whether drawing or building things with his hands and even his skillful art of braiding hair.  He will be remembered best as the jokester of the family, a great dad, and family man.  Henry loved playing with his daughter, joining in card games, and spending time at Cedar Falls with his family.  He had a strong faith in Jehovah God, with his desire to serve him for eternity, living in paradise with his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1 – 2 pm at Fletcher Funeral Service.  A celebration of life will follow beginning at 2 pm.
