Wanda Gosnell Obituary

Wanda Louise Cusick Gosnell, 81, widow of Olin D. Gosnell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2025.  Born in Lenior City, TN, she was a daughter of the late Tilford Joe Cusick and Edith Bernice Arp Cusick.


Wanda enjoyed cooking and collected many cookbooks.  She made the best cornbread.  Wanda also collected what-nots and knick-knacks.  Her greatest joy came from attending church and played the piano at her church for many years.


Wanda is survived by her sister, Teressia Manley; a niece Patricia Massey; four great nieces, Jenny Dixon, April Sherbert, Heather Harrelson, and Holly Harris; a great nephew, Matthew Gibson; and many extended family.  In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by a brother James Cusick; and two nieces Pamela Gibson and Denise Taylor.


The family will received friends at New Hope Baptist Church, 1690 Shaw Road in Woodruff on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.  The celebration of life will follow beginning at 1:00 pm.  Following the service, Wanda will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
