Clayton George Bigham, Jr., 70, husband of Elizabeth Cleveland Campbell Bigham, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Clayton George Bigham, Sr. and Frances Garrett Bigham. Clayton and Libby shared 43 years together.
Clayton retired from Lee Sims Drilling Inc. and started Clayton’s Water Well Service and Repair. He developed many friendships as a small business owner and enjoyed working. In his spare time, he could be found in the garden or searching for additions to his car and truck collection.
In addition to his wife, Clayton is survived by two sons, Nate Tatum (Kim) and Ricky Campbell (Sondra); two daughters, Elizabeth Anne Tatum and Rebecca Swafford; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Bigham; and two sisters, Susan Coker and Norma Tellez.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral Service from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the service at 12:30 pm at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Simpsonville.
