Samuel Joe “Sammy” Schrimsher, 70, husband of the late Rhonda Lee Schrimsher, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Mr. Schrimsher was born in Spartanburg to the late Joe Floyd Schrimsher and Beulah Faye McKillop Schrimsher.  He worked many years for Guy Roofing and was the owner and opera of Schrimsher Construction Company and Grizzly Sam’s Outfitters – a nationally known hunting guide service.  Sammy and Rhonda hosted many sportsmen (which they considered friends) over the years.

Sammy was predeceased by his wife; a brother, Steve Schrimsher; and his beloved dog “Angel”.

Graveside Services will begin at 10 o’clock Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Brad Cooper.
