Lisa Whitworth Wilson, 61, wife of James Christopher Wilson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.  Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Columbus Whitworth and Lillian Faye Holliday Whitworth.

Lisa was a selfless, loving woman who often put other people’s needs above her own.  She enjoyed trips to the beach and going on cruises.  Lisa’s favorite place to visit was Hunting Island.  She collected lighthouses and snowpeople.  She dearly loved her daughter and grandson and considered it a privilege to be called Grammy.

In addition to her husband, Lisa is survived by her daughter, Lauren Jackson (Daniel); her grandson, Jase Huntsberger; a brother, Richard Whitworth; a sister Wanda Riddle (Jack); her mother-in-law, Katheryn Wilson; and her sister-in-law, Kimberly Wilson (Joey).  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Whitworth; her father-in-law, Eddie Wilson; and her nephew, Jason Riddle.

Services will be private for the family.
