Donald Eugene Reynolds, 78, husband of the late Jimmie Sue “Susie” Thackston Reynolds, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Elberton, GA to the late Wilbur Eugene Reynolds and Artie Louise Howell Reynolds.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Don worked many years at Sew Simple Systems before retiring from Hartness International.  He was a certified welder and enjoyed wood-working and restoring cars.  Don loved the mountains and being Papa to his grandson. 

Surviving are two sons, Mike Reynolds with wife Jennifer, and Jeff Reynolds; a brother, Wayne Reynolds with wife Cyndee; and a grandson, Chase Reynolds.

A celebration of Don’s life will begin at 12 noon Tuesday at Bethany Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  Burial, with military honors, will be in the church cemetery.
