Blair Tidmarsh Obituary

Charles Blair Tidmarsh, 78, beloved husband of Debra Chapman Tidmarsh, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. A man of deep faith, Blair walked through the gates of heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Blair was the son of the late James Francis Tidmarsh and Lula Idell Frier Tidmarsh. He was raised in Whitmire, SC before relocating to Greer, SC, where he graduated from Greer Senior High School. Blair went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina.

Throughout his life, Blair exemplified a strong commitment to service, both professionally and in his community. As the owner of Mauldin Family Pharmacy and Compounding Center, he was a passionate advocate for independent pharmacy and personalized patient care. He was an active member of the South Carolina Pharmacy Association and the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.

Blair also strongly believed in giving back to the community he loved. As a dedicated member of the Mauldin Lions Club, he was honored with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award—recognizing his unwavering humanitarian spirit and dedication to service. He was also a proud Shriner and longtime member of the Rotary Club.

Blair is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Debra; his two sons, Blair Tidmarsh, Jr. (Candace) and Chris Tidmarsh (Jennifer); and his cherished grandson, Mason Tidmarsh. He also leaves behind his longtime caregiver and dear family friend, Carrie Studebaker, who became like a daughter to him; his brother, Henry Tidmarsh; and many beloved extended family members.

He was predeceased by his brother, James Drew Tidmarsh, and his sister, Joan Tidmarsh Weaver.
