Jorge Luis Padilla-Ortiz, 74, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Mr. Padilla-Ortiz was born in Sevilla, Valle, Colombia to the late Raul Padilla and Maria Jael Ortiz de Padilla. He retired from Inman Mills. Jorge enjoyed riding his bike, going for walks, and traveling to Colombia.

Surviving are a son, Jorge Edison Padilla; and siblings, Jose Raul, Cenelia, Luz Adiela, Luz Aida, Jairo Antonio, Maria Jael, Everardo, Omaira, and Danelly.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2 o’clock Friday, September 12th at Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church (2575 Reidville Road in Spartanburg).  Inurnment will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, September 13th at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (14050 E Wade Hampton Blvd in Greer).
