Brenda Gail Brown Barton, 77, of Gray Court, SC went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born in Fountain Inn, SC to the late Bartow Braxton Brown and Daisy Hipps Brown.

Brenda Gail will be remembered for her love of God, sharing her faith, and helping others. Her 60-year marriage to her beloved husband, Thomas Lee “Tommy” Barton, exemplified their commitment to God and family. She worked for many years in home health care for the elderly and enjoyed volunteering at local food banks. She was an avid reader, collected lighthouses, and enjoyed listening to gospel music.

Surviving are a son, Rudy Barton with wife Kellie; two daughters, Rene’ Barton and Lindsey Horn; five grandchildren, Justin Brown with wife Tabie, Braxton Horn with fiancé Sierra, Trace Austin Barton, Logan Horn and Daisy Horn; and four great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Tommy Barton; an infant son, Dweight Barton; a brother, Dickie Brown; and a granddaughter, Niki Barton.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn, SC on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 3PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
