Robert “Bob” Lee Brashier, 94, husband of Willie Nell Taylor Brashier for 74 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2025.  Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late John Lewis Brashier and Onie Lee Tucker Brashier.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army.  Following his service to our country, Bob worked for Cryovac for 18 years, then retired from the city of Simpsonville after 15 years as a public works supervisor.  Bob loved traveling to Bryson City, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge with his family.  He was a lifetime member of Unity Baptist Church and served as custodian and grounds keeper until age 88.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by three sons, Danny Brashier (Donna), Sammy Brashier (Connie), and Bobby Brashier; a daughter, Lisa Jones (David); his daughter-in-law, Sandi Brashier; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a brother Edward Brashier (Pat).  In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Mark Brashier; five brothers, Fred, Lawrence, Lewis, Claude, and Frank Brashier; and a sister Frances Brashier.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Unity Baptist Church from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.  A celebration of life will follow at 12:00 pm.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to Open Arms Hospice by Compassus for the love and care they gave Dad over the past year and a half, and especially Moises, his CNA, who became such a dear, sweet friend to our Dad.
