Mark Caldwell Obituary

Mark Donovan Caldwell, 60, husband to Kathy Lynn Morris Caldwell for 20 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Mr. Caldwell was born in Anderson, SC to the late Robert Gebronge “Bobby” Caldwell and Joyce Vivian Robinson Caldwell.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked for Wittenbach Business Systems.  Mark was a “people person” who never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.  He maintained a “bible ministry” throughout his life, ensuring that anyone in need of a bible received one.  Mark was a huge fan of the USC Gamecocks.  His favorite blessing was being Papa to his four granddaughters.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Kayla England with husband Sean, and Kelley Vaughan with husband Forrest; a brother, Steve Caldwell with wife Tammy; and four granddaughters, Bexley, Leyton, Kate and Emma.

The family will receive friends between 5 - 7 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn.

A celebration of Mark’s life will begin at 10 o’clock Saturday morning at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (Pelzer, SC).

Memorials in Mark’s honor may be made to Miracle Hill Greenville Rescue Mission, 575 W Washington St, Greenville, SC 29601.
