Mary Henrietta Thompson Leopard, 81, widow of Olin D. Leopard, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Mrs. Leopard was born in Laurens to the late Guy Thompson and Margaret Ellen Copelan Thompson. She retired from Cryovac. Mary enjoyed reading, music, dancing, camping and cruises. She loved the beach and collected sharks teeth. One of her favorite indulgences was eating crab legs and oysters-on-the-half-shell.
Surviving are a son, Greg Duvall; a daughter, Marie Turner with husband Billy; a brother, Wendell Thompson; two sisters, Pam Campbell with husband Henry, and Barbara Collins; two grandchildren, Stephanie Morton with husband Tony, and Michael Hostetler; four great-grandchildren, Austin Teal with companion Hannah, Brandon Teal with companion Patience, Tori Lister with husband David, and Dana Ellis with husband Johnny; and four great-great-grandchildren, Axel, Colton, Ellie and Jaxon. She was predeceased by a sister, Gail Wasson.
A celebration of Mary’s life will begin at 5 o’clock Wednesday in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
