Harold Kent McCarter, 67, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2025.

Mr. McCarter was born in Spartanburg to the late Harold Jerry McCarter and Judith Gail Johnson McCarter. Kent was a muscle car enthusiast and avid Washington Redskins fan. He also enjoyed bowling and relaxing at home.

Surviving, are a son, Harold “Shane” McCarter; identical twin brother, Brent McCarter, brothers, Darren McCarter (Robin) and Jeff McCarter; five grandchildren, Alex McCarter, Logan McCarter, Scarlett McCarter, Conner McCarter and Alyssa McCarter.

The family will receive friends 1-2pm Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service, Woodruff. Graveside services will be held Saturday 2:30pm at Nazareth Presbyterian Church.
