Geraldine Lyda Flanagan, 81, widow of Guy Flanagan for 34 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

Mrs. Geraldine Flanangan was born in Woodruff and was a member of Selma Baptist Church. She retired from Kemet Electronics. Geraldine’s legacy to her family was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving, are two daughters, Marie Gunnells with husband Louis, and Karen Landers; three grandchildren, Kristi Sapp, Joseph Landers with wife Kelsey, and Nathan Kirk with wife Meagan; and three great-grandchildren, Ryder, Delilah, and Chloe. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Faye Smith; and her mother Laura Vasie West.

The family will receive friends between 5 – 7 pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service in Woodruff.

A Celebration of Geraldine’s Life will be 2 o’clock Thursday at Selma Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenhaven Memorial Park.
