Judith “Judy” Ann White, 85, widow of John Samuel White, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born in Evergreen Park, IL, she was a daughter of the late John Russell Dotts and Annabelle Marie Coffey Dotts.
Judy enjoyed cross-stitch, reading, and collecting Precious Moments figurines. She loved decorating for Christmas and other holidays. Judy had a servant’s heart and served her community in a number of ways. She was a Sunday School teacher and participated in a card ministry. Judy also volunteered at the Piedmont Women’s Center and served at the Miracle Hill Food Pantry.
Judy is survived by three sons, Joe White and wife, Brenda, Mark White and wife, Pamela, and Jack White and wife, Joy; two daughters, Susan Arrington and husband, Bill, and Anne Brooks Duvall and husband, Matt; ten grandchildren, Seth Arrington, Bethany White, Liesel White, John White, III, Abby Varner (Cody), Noah White, Joelle White, Jake White, Jude Brooks, and Gideon Duvall; a brother, Jack Dotts (Lu); and two sisters, Debbie Steig and Jane Sarniak. Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Dotts and a sister, Sharon Dotts.
The family will visit with friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church from 2 pm – 3 pm. A celebration of life will follow beginning at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Judy’s honor to the Piedmont Women’s Center, 1143 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
