Barbara Jane Gauthier, 84, widow of Earl Francis Gauthier, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2025.  Born in Hempstead, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hans Henry Hardege and Hedwig Frieda Wagner Hardege.

In high school, Barbara participated on the high school drill team and played tennis.  She and her husband operated the Dockside Landing at Lake Greenwood for many years.  Barbara loved animals and took in many stray dogs through the years.

Barbara is survived by two sons, Ron Bailey and wife Cindi, and Bob Bailey and wife Pamela; twelve grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; and a cousin who was like a sister, Margaret Mahnke.

A celebration of life is being planned with date and time to be announced when finalized.
