Bobby Wofford Lindley, Jr., 68, husband to Susan Campbell Lindley for 45 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Mr. Lindley was born in Williamston, SC to the late Bobby W. Lindley, Sr. and Nancy Peden Lindley. He was a dedicated fireman for the Dunklin Fire Department for over 40 years, serving ten of those years as chief. He was a former employee at Kemet Electronics, and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Bobby Jason Lindley; a daughter, Shanon Wilkerson (Curtis); a sister, Lisa Thompson; a sister-in-law, Susan Lindley; and five grandchildren, John “JC” Shirley, James Austin Shirley (Crystal), Justin Shirley, Gaven Lindley, and Riley Wilkerson; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Kim Lindley; and a brother-in-law, Mike Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 3 o’clock Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor James Slice. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
