Brenda Kay Pennington, 70, widow of Robert “Bobby” Pennington, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Mrs. Pennington was born in Greenville to the late James Alfred Franklin and Helen Virginia Simmons White.  Brenda enjoyed participating in Arts & Crafts activities while at Simpsonville Post Acute.  She was particularly fond of Bingo and was a collector of DVD movies and TV series.  Her greatest joy was being “Nanny” to her grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Brian Langford; a daughter, Penny Key; two brothers, Scott Franklin and Len Franklin; two sisters, Louise Franklin and Mildred Pennington; two grandchildren, Vince Key and Virginia Key; and four great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Franklin; and a grandson, Steven Langford.
