Jack DuPree McCall, Sr., 89, husband of Lois Alma Nelms McCall for over 63 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 8, 2025.  Born in Fountain Inn, he was a son of the late Lonnie C. McCall and Lola Kay McCall.

Jack served in the US Air Force before beginning a career with General Electric.  He retired from GE after many years of service in the gas turbine division.  Jack was a collector of stamps and coins.  He loved farming and spending time on is Case tractor.  Jack was a true do-it-yourself man, keeping the cars running and taking on projects around the house.  He served as a deacon for White Oaks Baptist Church and was known as Papa to his grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his sons, Jack “Junior” McCall, Jr. and Jeff McCall; two grandchildren, Lauren Holt and Andrew McCall; a great granddaughter, Lillian Holt; and a sister Ann Peskopos.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cotton McCall and L.C. McCall; and two sisters, Mickey Kellett and Joan Kellett.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Service.  A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be at Cannon Memorial Park following the service.
