Roger Alan Young, Jr., 55, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2025.

Mr. Young was born in Canandaigua, NY to Roger Alan Young, Sr. and Gloria Jean Moore Young.  He was a member of Green Pond Methodist Church where he had served as a lay reader.  He was an alumnus of Spartanburg Methodist College.  Roger Alan worked many years at the Rochester, NY Ambulance Service.  He enjoyed writing, reading, genealogy research, cooking, and traveling.  Roger Alan was a huge Clemson Tiger fan and a collector of stamps, Hot-Wheels, and Beanie-Babies.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his beloved cat “Bunny”.

A celebration of Roger Alan’s life will begin at 4 o’clock Wednesday at Green Pond Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Click here to view Livestream.  The service will appear shortly before 4 o'clock.  The service can also be view later at the same link.
