John Steven Thompson, 70, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Mr. Thompson was born in Fountain Inn to the late Johnnie Walter Thompson and Doris Jean Looper Thompson. He was an avid Clemson fan, and enjoyed reading and target shooting.

Surviving, are his brother, Joesph “Joe” Thompson with wife Linda Thompson.

A celebration of life will be held from 2pm to 4pm Sunday at Fork Shoals Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
