Brenda Louise Campbell, 82, widow of Frank Harrison Campbell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Laurens to the late Claude Alexander Abercrombie and Marie Elzora Riddle Abercrombie. She was a member of Conestee Church of God and worked many years at both House of Fabrics and Big Lots. Brenda enjoyed Silver Bay meals with family and friends, and watching the Hallmark Chanel. She was a collector of Angel figurines and she loved celebrating Easter. Most of all she loved being “Mema” to her grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Michael Campbell; two daughters, Connie Gray with husband Keith, and Sharon Headen with husband Chris; a sister, Margaret Foster; eight grandchildren, Chassidy Dean with husband Marcus, Brittney Gray, Kenny Tollison, Brandy Tollison, Kevin Headen, Zach Gray with wife Channel, Taylor Headen and Ryan Headen; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by three brothers, Russell Abercrombie, Carroll Abercrombie and Robert Abercrombie; two sisters, Sarah Edge and Ann Cannon; a daughter, Frankie Tollison; and a grandson, Jeff Tollison.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will begin at 2 o’clock Wednesday at Conestee Church of God. Burial will be in the Conestee Community Cemetery.
