Thomas “Aubrey” Bouchillon, 83, husband of Hazel Irene McCamey Bouchillon for 33 years, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
Mr. Bouchillon was born in Travelers Rest to the late Vernon Aubrey Bouchillon and Revelle Rackley Bouchillon. He was well known by so many. Aubrey was the owner and operator of Bouchillon Grocery Store on Woodruff Road for many years and later retired from Publix Supermarket. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. Aubrey will be greatly missed. He enjoyed Clemson Tiger football, gardening, and watching National Geographic. He was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, clocks, and Diecast cars.
Surviving, in addition to his devoted wife, are two sons, Tony Bouchillon and Ricky Bouchillon; four daughters, Keely Clark (Jason), Sheila Ballard (Dudley), Shannon Ashworth (David), and Sharon Jackson; a brother, Alan Bouchillon (Jan); a sister, Rita Holcombe; a special niece, Christie (Andy) Sponaugle and a special great nephew, Mason Sponaugle; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Lamar Bouchillon; two brothers, Bobby Bouchillon and Larry Bouchillon; and two daughters-in-law, Shay Bouchillon and Pennie Bouchillon.
There will be no service per request of the deceased.
