Amanda Lynn Chapin, 46, born in Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.  She leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and fierce love.  She was hard-headed, in the best way, never backing down from what she believed in.  Her greatest pride and love were her three daughters.  Every battle she fought was rooted in that love.  She was a beautiful, strong-willed fighter in a cruel world.  Amanda found joy in the simple things like taking a nap and collecting frog themed items, which made her smile.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Sylvia Diane Weathers Hayes, and her stepfather, Olen Hayes.  She is reunited in rest with her father, Bobby Eugene Perrin, who preceded her in death.

Amanda is survived by her three daughters, Carrie Tamez with husband Noah Tamez, Mackenzie Dowler with companion Koby Horn, and Chandler Moore; a grandchild, Emerson Horn; three sisters, Cheri Marler with husband Chuck, Amber Payne with husband Michael, and Erica Creswell with husband Brian; a step-sister Tammy Nichols with husband Robert; two step-brothers Stan Hayes with wife Tracy and Brian Hayes with wife Jana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Amanda's spirit lives on through her daughters, granddaughter, and all those blessed to know her.  She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Fletcher Funeral Service beginning at 4:00 pm.  The family will visit with friends following the service.

Flowers are welcome.  The family will be at the home of Diane and Olen Hayes.
