Donald Earl Tucker, 84, husband of Mary Martin Tucker for 58 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Mr. Tucker was born in Memphis, TN to the late Earl Tucker and Myrtie Virginia McDaniel Tucker.  He attended Fairview Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the US Navy.  Don was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a past council member of the Oak Ridge North City Council in Texas.  He was an outdoor enthusiast, avid hunter and fisherman.  Don attended Texas A&M University.  He enjoyed reading and oil painting as hobbies.  He was an admirer of classic cars.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Angus Tucker with wife Janlyn; and a granddaughter, Basia Nesbett-Tucker.

A celebration of Don’s life, with Military Honors, will begin at 2:30 PM Saturday in the sanctuary of Fairview Presbyterian Church.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial in the church cemetery will be private.
