Tommy Jose Trujillo, 48, left our world living life to its fullest on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Tommy was born in Hawthorne, CA to Rita Kate Mondragon and the late Victor Trujillo; however, he was raised by his mother and father Orlando Colon.  He worked for Southeastern Products and worked on cars after hours.  He ran his own little business – buying, restoring, and flipping furniture.  Tommy was a motorcycle enthusiast and played bass guitar.  He enjoyed trips to the lake, paddleboarding, gardening, and smoking beef jerky.  Tommy was known for helping others; but his greatest joy was being “Papa” to his grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two sons, Derek Trujillo and Devin Trujillo; a daughter, Janyll Trujillo; four sisters, Hope Gonzales, Brittney Sokolaj, Faith Trujillo, and Charity Trujillo; and two grandchildren, Ezrah Norton and Ariella Norton. 

A celebration of Tommy’s life will be March 22nd 2-5 PM at Pete’s of Simpsonville.
