Kelly Willis Obituary

Kelly Lynn Willis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Kelly was the cherished daughter of the late Bobby David Painter and Doris Belch Painter. She married her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Willis, and together they shared many joyful years. Kelly was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jad Willis (married to Brittany, maiden name Zeien) and Jeremy Willis (married to Shea, maiden name Morabito), and she took great pride in the men they had become. Nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren, Sutton, Piper, and JW, who filled her heart with love and laughter; and a brother, David Painter. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Lee Robinson.

An active and spirited woman, Kelly enjoyed playing softball and spending time outdoors. She and Jimmy loved spending time at the lake and relaxing with family and friends. Her adventurous spirit created memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

A graduate of Hillcrest High School in 1981, Kelly was a longtime member of Green Pond Methodist Church and touched the lives of countless people in Fountain Inn with her warm smile and friendly nature. She worked for many years as a manager at Grainger in Fountain Inn and also served in customer service at the United Community Bank, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness.

Kelly will be remembered for her unwavering love, her bright spirit, and her generosity of heart. She leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship, and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
